Italian agent Oscar Damiani says he does not expect Victor Osimhen to leave Napoli in the Summer. According to Damiani, it would be difficult for any club to meet up with Napoli’s asking price for the Nigerian. Osimhen has been in shining form for the Partenopei this season courting the interest of the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. On the back of his spectacular performances, Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis slammed a €150m price tag on the striker. Damian however, claimed no club would be willing to pay such an exorbitant fee for the 24-year-old. “There is no club in the world that can really offer this money (€150million) to Napoli. I’m sure Osimhen will stay another year in blue and will continue to be a point of reference for the club,” Damiani said as per Napoli Magazine. Osimhen has scored 28 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions for Luciano Spalletti’s side this season.

Ake has missed City’s last two games due to calf injury. The last time he featured for Pep Guardiola’s side was in the 2-1 home win against Leeds on May 6th where he came off on 54 minutes. Asked in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday about the fitness of his players ahead of the game against Madrid, Guardiola revealed that Ake is the only one out. “Except for Nathan [Ake], everyone else is fit.“ City will hope to avenge last season’s painful loss to reigning champions Madrid. The Manchester club conceded two late goals at the Bernabeu in the second leg despite taking the lead through Riyad Mahrez. Carlo Ancelotti’s men eventually won the reverse fixture 3-1 after the first leg ended 2-1 in favour of the English club. With the tie balanced at 1-1 from the first leg last week, Guardiola said his players are ready to give everything ...

Former Arsenal midfielder, Paul Merson has backed Taiwo Awoniyi to play a crucial role in Nottingham Forest’s relegation fight. The Nigeria international has scored four goals in his last two Premier League games for Nottingham. Awoniyi scored a brace in Steve Cooper’s side 2-2 draw against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge last weekend. Nottingham Forest currently sit in 16th position on the table, three points away from relegation zone. “For Forest to go 2-1 down and draw 2-2, it’s a massive, massive point,” Merson told Skysports. “Awoniyi, who scored the two goals, was a threat. He held the ball up well. I saw him the other week playing away from home and he was taken off, he didn’t do well. “Now he (Awoniyi) looks a handful, he’s holding it up and playing it simple and scored two goals. They were simple. “With him playing like that with a couple of games left, I’d be quite shocked if Forest went down from here. To come back with that away record is very, very good.”

....by Ikechukwu Kenneth Match day 2 Egypt Vs Uruguay. Egypt national team coach Hector Cuper, Thursday, categorically declared revelation of the year, Muhammed Salah "fit enough" for a spot in the team to face South American opponents, Uruguay, in their opening fixture of the Russia 2018 world cup. Exactly how much playing time Mo' Salah would get us not clear as yet, having suffered that heart melting injury in the champions league final, but one sure thing is that the match between the north Africans and the South Americans would make for an interesting one. Both teams possess world beaters, and if Salah does feature, then the 35,000 seater capacity Ekaterinburg stadium would see three of the World's deadliest finishers in world football on parade.  Egypt world cup fate rests squarely on the shoulders- the left shoulder specifically- of the 42 goal liverpool sensation. The ex Roma man would epitomise the Pharaohs success, or otherwise, at this ...

He said this: We have a very young population: our population is estimated conservatively to be 180 million. More than 60 percent of the population is below the age of 30. A lot of them have not been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria has been an oil producing country, therefore they should sit and do nothing and get housing, healthcare and education free. Leadership is a call to service even as public service remains a platform for social engineering, progressive and developmental bridge building aimed at improving the lives of the masses for whom the institution of government was primarily birthed. Worthy of note however is that only a select few understand this salient truth. Comrade Avinyeze Peter Oghenebrozie is one man that holds firmly to this philosophy. Having horned his leadership skills through an unblemished track record in public service both as an undergraduate and beyond,  he is a rare breed of the new democratic order where transparency, equity, empowerment and youth enterprise forms an integral part of leadership. I am aware that your relationship has been dogged by rancor, discord and spite for a long while. Yet, you must endure the attrition and accept that you have been trapped by fate. Dear Paul and Peter, I have just been informed that one of you unilaterally announced the ‘split’ of the crisis-prone P-Square. That’s an act of self-determination. It is treasonable and worthy of classification as terrorism. I recall that your late mother paid me a visit at my Daura home a couple of years ago. We shared dinner and discussed late into the night. And we agreed that the unity of P-Square would forever remain non-negotiable. My aides told me that you 'separated' sometime last year, tasted uneventful solo musical careers, reconciled, and went back to making great music. I missed the story. Nigerian newspapers conspired to leave me in the dark by not doing cartoon impressions of the development. But you can’t try that secessionist stunt on my wide-awake watch. You were made a gro...
